so they do cross breed. Interesting. Is this a good thing?
Good question. I think if anything it is a bad thing or it doesn't make a difference. The only reason it would be a bad thing is if they are infertile. I don't think a chick of a hybrid has been observed yet. There was a hybrid with a nest last year but they don't know if the egg hatched or survived. The hybrids also often have trouble finding a mate.
I know that sometimes hybrids are infertile. He is rather cute though! I am so jealous that you can just walk up to them and take pictures and they don't care! I would love to do that!
